Will this work? If so, how?

THanks

It does work. Here's a link to what Gary Goodrum did with his programming.

Does it still allow you to control the shutter or should that be controlled by the camera operator?

No, there's not enough channels to also do the camera shutter, and/or camera tilt/panning control. I use a DX6 for this, and a tray to hold both transmitters. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to move up to the 9-channel JR setup, or maybe wait and see how Futaba's plug-in modules work with my 14MZ, which has been collecting considerable dust, of date.

Hey, do you guys know how to set up the 401s gyro gain to be controlled from the aux 4 channel on the Spartan? I'm running low on chanels on my 9chp. I remember reading that it can be setup this way, but can't find the thread.

Tip (no pun intended  )

Take the gain lead out of your rx, plug a servo in and note the arm position then, plug it into slot #4 on your AP2000i and adjust Trim 4 until it is back in that same position. You can now plug the gyro gain lead into slot #4 and your in business.
