Sweet, 2 sets of parts in those replacement kits.

What im not understanding is that the MCP X parts are roughly the same price (Spindle and Mainshaft) yet you only get 1 .

Regardless, Im sold!

How often do you break a mcpxain shaft, the shaft on this will bend just avout every tome it crashes, items that dont break often well they peobably have a higher price so it is woth selling

Sent from Samsung galaxy player, spelling and grammar might be worse than usual.....

Quite a few actually, and that was when I was still using the brushed oem motor. I understand that from a monetary prospective, but its just crap that alot less material would cost the same price.

Very cool! :clap

I was considering an Align 250, but as long as the Blade 300X tail holds good, I think I might go this route instead. I hear the 250 tail is finicky.

I was curious about the 250 vs 300 size difference, here are some specs I found:

Balde 300X Specifications:

Tail Rotor Diameter: 5.5 in (140mm)
Gross Weight: 17.3 oz (491 g)
Length: 20.1 in (510mm)
Main Gear Ratio: 14:1
Kit/ARF/RTF: BNF
Control System: 120 degree CCPM
Rotor Blade Length: 245mm

WOW this is way cool. I can not fly like the guy in video but looks so cool. And i am about to check out the 500 blade thread as i have wanted a 500 forever bout time Blade gets in gear. I hope this 300X will push out the SR's as there junk in my opinion I liked my SR size but did not fly well at all
The canopy is Bright I LIKE it!

Awesome, and belt is likely better to avoid grass TT damage. And released in time for the tax refund season, too :) ( now I get the spring heli release dates!)
My antiquated SR could really use the AR7200bx, but at $240 I guess going for the whole shebang would be the way to go. That would be a heck of a painful part to have to replace, wouldn't it? HH, how 'bout an Rx warranty please!

Is the frame carbon fiber on the 300x?

As am I. Unfortunately local guys say it'll be about May before we get it. I suspect it will cost just as much to fix as a 450, I mean, we can guess what will break... but lol, for that size... I'm in.

James, don't disappear on us now, k? :P ... And if you've any control over logistics, can I request cheap and bountiful spares for us downunder?

beast-x technology makes anything fly great even with e-flite servos!

I love it!!!

I was honestly hoping it would be a little smaller... but I still think this heli is going to be a winner.

I just HOPE, that someone comes out with a better looking canopy.

I have never been a fan of the Blade canopies... reminds me of the older nitro helis form the 90s. Not a very updated look.

At least it's not blue and white for once, the two worst colors for anything that goes airborne. :rotf

Nice job on this one E Flite, for the price, it will be tough to beat.

When you think about it, it's really good value: just the BeastX 7200 receiver is worth 240$, you get the heli with servos, motor, esc and lipo for another 140$. When you're done crashing it, just take out the BeastX and throw away the rest... :)

Nice

I like it. I guess it might be time to retire my Blade CP (Yup the original, only mods are heat sinks) my excuss will be parts for it are becoming harder and harder to find :DOH

I'm looking forward to some reviews.

Its also good to see someone from HH here. thanks for all the information.

I have been trying to upgrade my Blade SR with belt drive tail. I am having a very difficult time with it and have spent easily more than a Blade 300x and a half on it. So long SR you are just not worth it anymore.

@Stazz

You are correct! I apologize for the misinformation. 11t is optional.

10t is stock
11t is optional

Thanks guys I hope you like it as much as I do!

Thanks,
James Haley
So, after some easy math what we got?
With 10T pinion at 100% of throttle it will have a HS of about 3450 RPM
With 11T it will increase to 3800 RPM - I probably wouldn't try this with wooden blades! Scary, especially if someone buys it second hand (not knowing that 11T is installed)! :face

Just looking at the specs...

Gross Weight: 17.3 oz (491 g)
Rotor Blade Length: 245mm

The Gaui X2 FES has 255mm blades and weighs only 360g. Only $599 inc 4 servos & BeastX. Mine runs rings around my 250.

You mean it's marked private in Helifreak or you can't acess it from the Alll e RC? Have you tried copiing and pasting it into a browser?

Only $599? That's a big price jump from a $380 300x. That $380 also includes a Rx and lipo (along with a generic charger). The X2 sure better stomp for that price increase.

And this is coming from somone would rather own a X2 than the 300x. If I can score a used X2 before the 300x release, I'll jump on. But you can't compare the two birds at that significant of a price diff.

Wow... I never looked at it that way. It's actually coming with a QUALITY FBL controller, that can be used on other helis in the future!

To bad i already own a X2 this might have been a bit of a bank account saver!!! Hmmm maybe them 300x CF blades might fit the X2????

Seeing as there is not much options for good blades for us X2 owners, maybe that belt might be a little better as well and fit in the X2.

Hmmmm some possible options in the future for us gaui flyers that like to experiment! :)

Amain already has AR7200BX in stock! So, I think it was not FBL what delayed arrival of Blade 450X as many people were thinking!

I'm actually wondering if they'll release an RTF version with a proper radio, like the Blade 450. I'm considering a move to Spektrum.

Im sold.

Hey James, in the pics of the 300 x you posted there is a nice metal case sitting next to it, is this the case for the 300x? :-)
