I don't think this has been posted already but the Horizon UK site appears to have more pics of the 300 x than the U.S. site:

I really like the design of the frame. It looks very clean and easy to work on. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

Looks like replacing the belt will be a PITA. I do like the tail pitch control arm design. I also like the fact that the rear servo has a full disk servo arm on it.

My Furion 450 and Furion 6 have this same belt setup. You just have to pull the main shaft. The trick is not to break the belt in the first place!

Replacing the belt on my trex250 is a PITA. I'll be selling it when this bad boy comes out ;)

Thank you David. That's great info.

Now, as if you have never heard this before, how 'bout a 120SR X? :) :)

A guy at our weekly indoor let me fly his MSR X around last night. If it were only a bit bigger!

Great support. Keep up the good work David and Horizon.

Man, a 120SR X... we never thought of that!!! :peace

Wow, you're right. Can't say for definite as I can't see the left of it but it looks like the elevator servo is no longer via bell crank. Yay. Glad I preordered now.

I think its a bell crank still for elevator.

on edit: I'm mistaken. I see now the servo (and servo wire) is right there. I guess the servo must stick out a bit from the side, but if it fits in the canopy, it's still fine by me.

Man, I'd love to have a new B450 frame to be the same way, although we'd need to have even more weight put up front to keep the COG good.

The recommended price from Blade is 380. In my experience no one is cheaper than ampdraw. LHS will probably be more.

Ouch. And here am I complaining about the price of blade spares in Australia. We still get taxed here but I'd forgotten how bad taxes were in the EU. I guess if you order this from America or the far east, you also get taxed hè?

I think a new B450 frame with some of the improvements noted here would be great.

To offset the front, maybe 4S Lipos and a new ESC lol.

339€ here in Estonia!

With my "experience level" I will get a 10% discount, however it will be still 308€ (what equals to 403$).

But I want this bird anyway! Will be my birthday present in May! :D

Being a BNF using a pre-set FBL Microbeast is this going to cause potential problems for someone that has never set up a FBL heli before. I just wonder if people will not read the "Advanced" moniker and jump into this not really understanding what they are getting into. I hope that just binding it and flying is seamless but this is a more complex heli than the BNF's that have those cheap E-Flight gyros. Does this FBL unit have the same setup manual as the regular full version. I know that if I get this heli I will do my own setup from scratch. Sorry but I am not going to rely on the factory setting this up properly. Not saying this will not work I am just wondering if the HH phone lines are going to be jammed with newer people being confused. This is not going to be a beginner heli but it looks like it has already attracted some potential first CP pilots that have never built a kit or setup a heli from scratch.

Considering the ar7200bx cost 240, you are buying the heli for $74 you can't beat that!!! Worst case you toss the heli after a few month and put the beast on a pro kit and you are set for looong time.

That's a crazy price. I can see people buying the 300x for the controller and parting out the bird.

So what is a good battery for this thing? I'm guessing that it might be able to hold a bit bigger of a battery than the sr considering the stock one for the 300x is a 3s 1350mah 30c battery. Looking at some nanos/turnigy and trying to find the right one to match that stock battery... so any1 got a idea on a good battery for this before its released and there all sold out?

Dang! Now I'll have to get a real charger.

Unless you can find a weight spec it'll be hard to pick a proper battery, considering COG and all.
