I'm flying the Tango/Jazz combo with the 611 gyro. When right side up or inverted and I give it full collective, the tail swings around to the right.
Its not violent or anything, but hard to do any manuever that requires radical collective stick movement. What do I need to fix? Regular flying around is not affected.

Thanks
Tim

What is your pitch range and what is your throttle % set at.
Also blade sizes and gyro settings will be helpful.

Is everything on the tail moving freely?

Might want to have someone watch your fingers while you are doing this. You may be inputting some rudder on collective movements on accident. Seen that happen even when guys swear they were not doing it. :dontknow

Everything looks good on settings except the limits(do fix them).

Cranked up the gain again on the gyro to 50. From hover to 100% collective
with my hand off the radio once the collective stick is moved the tail will start to drift to the right. From the hover with the tail at 6:00 o'clock it will drift to 2:00 o'clock in the climb-out. Tick tocs make the tail drift a little faster. :arggg:

The linkage is silky smooth.

What would happen if the belt had one twist in the tube? Just curious.

Be sure your tailrotor compensation is turned off in the X-Mitter. That can wreak havok with the Gyro...

How many flights are on the tail servo?

Hey Will-
I have about 20 easy flights on the Razor and I bought the 611 new for the Razor.

If I send in the gyro-does the servo need to go to?

Hi,

Whats your headspeed? Had this same issue with my Razor with the tail kicking under full collective like you describe. I checked everything to no avail so just pushed the throttle up and it went away. Tached it at 2100rpm. Maybe something for you to look at.

I think I figured out my problem. There are two holes in the t/r blade grip for the ball and socket bolt and I didnt use the center hole. Once I started rechecking things, I noticed the error I made. Thanks for those who made suggestions!
