DX7 battery charger lights

I've got a question about the DX7 wall wart.

Do the little red lights go out on the charger when the receiver pack and the transmitter packs are done charging?

No. The wall charger is not a peak charger and although the lights dim a little as the battery nears full power there is no indication of a full charge.

Not exactly ornamental. They indicate that the charger is, in fact, working.
