Hi, guys~

I'm from S.Korea so plz understand my poor English.

anyway nowadays I'm trying to buy 14mz mode2.

But it's kind of hard to do it cuz for most asian region they sell just 14mz mode1.

Of course, I've been thingking import 14mz mode2 from US or elsewhere.

But in that case, It costs over $3,000 including importing tax, and oversea shipping fee~ :arggg:

So I'm consider tuning 14mz.

I mean I'm gonna tune 14mz mode1 to mode2 after buying mode1.

I had an experience to open Jr10x. Just open.. Hah Hah~.

So is there anybody who has experience of mode change for 14mz?

Frankly speaking, I'm so worried about tuning 14mz.

Is it easy to change mode1 to mode2?

Even though we have an official dealer, it's useless.

Becuz they just send every stuff of Futaba to Japan for repair charging for every expense, even delivery fee!!!

And It also takes lot of time~ :(

So plz let me know the best way to get mode 2.

I think tuning 14mz by myself is the best way.

So, let me know how to do and how level it is.

Ah one more thing~ What I know about differece between mode1 and 2 is the stick position of throttle.

Is there any difference about software between mode1 and 2?

If I just change the position of throttle stick from right to left, then is it same as mode2 perfectly??

Thanks~
Best Regards

Have you looked at www.cyberheli.com

They stock all modes and frequencies and can if need to tailor make the 14MZ for you. They are based in Hong Kong

To change modes yourself the mechanical bit is easy but you need to then calibrate and set the sticks with the service utility which isn't readily available

Thanks, Mark

yeh~ I've already know this shop.

It's gonna be my last choice~

Becuz importing tax and shipping fee is over $700, I'm little bit of confusing.

That's why I'm asking about how to do and how level it is for mode change.

Anyway~ Thanks alot, Mark!! :D

It's not so hard to switch mode. You need to swap the feather on the trottle stick to the elevator stick. Then you can program eatch function on the radio. But if you will have it ready programmed you need a program to do so. It's the calibration software it will set the default's to mode1/2 , heli or airplane.

I had the same program. Think the local futuba store may help you with the software.
