Predator Carbon SE Gasser flies

I took my Predator out today for it's first flight. Not first time out at the field mind you. That trip helped me find out my gyro was reversed. Spun at startup and wiped out the tail rotor blades and pitch slider.

Today went much better. The first lift off was short as the muffler bolts losend up a bit. But a few minutes at the field box and they were cranked down (not overtourqued) and out I went again. I stopped when a bolt holding th elanding gear on fell out. Seems I forgot to use locktite on those 4 bolts. The locktite is curing now as I type and tomorrow is another day.

This heli is wild. The sound of the blades and the motor with the V3 Century muffler is incredible.

Good Deal!! After Fly'n mine last weekend post inspections revealed I lost a tooth on my crown gear, then found out that the inner hub was bent & causing the crown gear to wobble. Waiting for parts so I can fly again.
What a great noise them 720 Blades make!! :mrgreen:

I just added another 5 flights to mine this past weekend - luving it!

It now has 67 all together. :D

Pictures will have to wait until my replacement canopy arrives. I messed up the paint job on the first one and used a stripper to remove it. Took off most of the gel coat too (not supposed to, but did). I refurbished it and it's just an off white now, but doesn't look too good.

Mine looks pretty much just like yours. :) But my fan shroud is aluminum colored. Where did you get the red one? And what's that electronic square under the air filter?

I'll try and get some pics tomorrow. I need better lighting than what I have unless you want to see them overexposed by the flash.

I painted the cover with Kandy red ( applies easy over metalic silver )
The square is my Lipo Alarm. I didn't think about get'n a generator till I bought me a Regulator & Alarm set up. I like it, & will work good til I save up for that Generator Kit!!
