I was cycling a nicd 7.2 1500mah pack today, and I noticed that it was not discharging. The cooling fan was on, and the internal temp was 24C, but the amps on the screen was 0, and the battery voltage was 8.34V. :arggg: I tried to lipo store my 2 cell lipo, and the same results. It will charge the battery, but will not discharge or store. The amps read 0, and I have waited as long as an hour. :bomb: I have only cycled about 12 batteries through this charger, and now it is not functioning as a discharger. I am pretty disappointed in the performance of this charger. :(

Well, I decided to charge my align 4600mah 22.2V pack today since this charger no longer will discharge or store, and puff out comes the factory smoke. :WOW I am done with Bantam and their chargers. I have only had this charger for a couple of months and now it has given up the ghost. :badair: Well I just ordered what I should have ordered in the first place, a Thunder Power TP1010 charger and TP210 balancer. :woohoo Live and learn.

When I had a problem with my 902 I sent it back to them in Korea. 2 Weeks later a brand new replacement arrived.
I know its not great that things go wrong in the first place, but good customer service has kept me on side.

Bantam's customer service is very good. You can contact Bantam directly or the company that you had purchased the unit from.

Well I sent my Bantam 902 back for repair through GrandRC Hobby. I sent it on the 2nd of July, and received a 902 in the mail today(July 7th). :WOW Wow talk about great service from Grand RC Hobby. :D The Bantam 902 that I received from Bantam was a refurbished model. There was only slight cosmetic scratches, but nothing major. I ran it though the normal paces: charge a LiPo, discharge a LiPo, charge a transmitter NiCd battery while charging a LiPo, and all seem good. I am happy with both Bantam and Grand RC for great service. :noteworthy Hmm, now I have two chargers a Thunder Power TP1010, and a Bantam 902. Man I hate these dilemmas. :glasses2:
