The Rx just refuses to lock to my Tx ( I have another R790 on my first rex), any ideas ? That flashing blue LED is starting to remind me of that laughing dog from DUCK HUNT.

yes, its set to SPCM and i can see it on channel 56 with my scanner.

Hey,
Try a different location to lock the frequency. I had trouble with a JR R10DS which I think was actually due to me trying to lock the frequency in near to my PC, as I had the same trouble with the replacement until I moved away.
