used 3.5 sim

do they track the users and/or pc's that you install this sim on? do you have to run the cd while playing? I am going to buy a used 3.5 and was just making sure ity wasn't like ms windows xp were you have to uninstall and unregister the first user or owner before you can install on another.

The key to the sim is the transmitter box. After you install the sim you don't need the CD in the drive to run it. You need to have the TX plugged in to start it.

It would be fine to buy a used sim and transfer ownership.
