If anyone is wanting some G-10 replacement frames for your "old" logo 14, I have some available on my website www.members.shaw.ca/rdheli
They will cost US$35.
The photo has the stock frame on the top and the replacement frame below it.
Thanks much,

Those look sweet Ron :)
Are 2mm G10 stiffer than 1.6mm CF?
What about making a full size servo convertion kit for the L14 too? Seems like two G10 plates with pre cut holes for two full size servos and 6 or 8 spacers to clear them from the mast will do the trick:

(I stole the picture off the German rc-heli.fan.org forum - hope they dont mind  )

I can most certainly do that. It looks like spacers would be required between the plate and the frame?
I think 2mm G-10 is compairable to 1.6mm CF. I have had no flexing issues at all with my T-Rex 600 frames.
I will try and draw something up tonight and see what you think.

Hi Lorents,
I am home now and looking at this more closely. Would you know how the back servo would fit or get mounted? Did they have to hack at the frames or cross bracing?

Hi Ron,
Hmm, the rear servo is a problem... I guess it should be mounted similar to the rear mini servo - on the inside of the frame. If you remove the original mini-servo mounting brackets they will fit through the frame but you would have to cut off some of the mounting ears on the servo to clear the upper bearing block and there is nowhere to fasten them properly on the frames :(
I'll post this in the other thread and see if anyone have a good solution to it.

hmm with full sized servos I wonder if this G-10 frame will also work for the Logo 20?
Rdspins's g-10 frame
L24 CF boom stretched for 680mm blades
L20 head
Z70-800 motor
9252 servos
What are the differences between the L20 and the 14...I think L14 has a driven tail doesnt it?
The new logo frames wont work with the older booms...Id love to have a G-10 optoin somewhere.

Hi Garland,
I'm sure a G-10 Frame for the logo 20 can be made. The only issue is that I would need a sample frame to work from.
The Logo 14 has a driven tail. Other than that, I really don't know what the other differences would be.
If you are interested in sending me a frame for a week or less, let me know...
