Well i am a newbie 4 sure. I have a Blade CX2 and I have gotten real good with it. I have hopped it up and i continue to get better. I just bought a CP pro with the advice of my local Hobbie store. I have read the manual and I have a good center of gravity but when I start to lift off I can not get it to hover it is to unstable. The manual says I need to hover it to make tuning adjustments. Am I going at this wrong?
Also Is there reading I can do to learn more about Heli's terms and tip's. Eventually tricks and how there done?
Thanks 4 any help.... :arggg:

Read this board. :)
CP Pro is not an easy heli to learn CCPM flying on. A Trex 450 or larger heli is much more stable and easier to fly.
Other than that, get a sim and practice a lot.

Do you have the flybar weights all the way out on the paddles?

My 2 cents as a fellow rookie are as follows:
Get a good SIM. Crash for free on there.
Read Lots and lots and lots of posts here and elsewhere.
Start slowly. Don't get in a rush to "Fly around".
Did I mention to practice on the SIM LOTS?
Add power slowly keeping the tail towards you.
Add left stick in the direction you want the nose to turn with the tail towards you.
Make slight stick inputs. Try to think ahead of the heli.
Practice hovering around knee height or belly height.
Small smooth stick inputs.
Try to keep the bird in a 4 foot square and get smaller as you get better.
