New to the Nitro scene. Putting together a rappy 50 SE and bought
the 600 woodies to start with. It calls for Epoxy'ing the two plastic blade
supports to the blade. Is ths necessary? Seems when I snap them together (tight!) and put the two screws in they are SOLID. In fact trying to get them back apart seems impossible.

So just curious how important the epoxy is.
Thanks!

With woodies I think the main thing is the glue some "grips" onto the area where it fits into the blade grips. My mini titan woodies said I should CA the supplied "sheets" thingies to the woodies before installing them into the blade grips.

Absolutely glue the blade grips! There have been instances where the root became soaked in fuel or oil and failed at the bolt and shed a blade, the helicopter explodes in mid air.

Mark around the grips on the covering with a felt tip. Remove the covering w/o cutting into the wood (soldering iron w/ an old tip works great for this) 1/8" INSIDE the mark. Coat the holes and ends of the blade with thin CA. Scuff the inside of the plastic grips and thick CA or epoxy them in place, make sure you clamp them.
