My CPP started to jump around a little, so I checked it and noticed a bad servo (broken tooth). I replaced it and at the same time, replaced the main shaft and gear with the new auto rotation hub. Very smooth install. Now when I spool up to fly, I do not get enough pitch to lift off (only 5 1/2). With the battery removed, I checked the swash plate and the linkage for any binding...nothing wrong. All moves smooth with good travel. When I connect the battery, the servos level off(all normal so far) my range(or travel) electronically is minimal in normal mode or idle up. Paddles are fine too. Please help because all "appears" and "feels" normal to me :arggg:

I made a phone call to Horizon Hobbies...he's never heard of this. I called my local Hobby Shop and he told me to measure the distance between the pin hole and the top of the gear rest...the same.
Guys and Gals, how is it possible that I do not have enough electronic travel and/or range all of a sudden? The TX and the RX is stock.

when you changed the main shaft you altered the the height of the head VS servo I suspect.
You have enough travel, it's just in the wrong place, travel has not chaged, you need to adjust the position of the new shaft with the sticks centered to give you 0 degrees pitch, then lock it off at that point.

or dissconnect the main and tail motors
put your stick in the middle ( left stick ) then adjust to 0. that shoud give you your pitch back. i woundt adjust the height of the main shaft. everything fits togather in a certain way.. btw you adjust the top links there the shortest links

I changed my receiver to the AR6100 matched to my DX7 and now my pitch is great. I'm thinking the problem was my factory receiver?
