Please explain to me exactly what has come loose? I also have a 60 v2, recently bought 2nd hand.... Have read alot about the tail malfunctioning? Are you guys talking about the little grub screw that keeps the pins in the tail drive gears. The pins that "locl" the tail gears?

Thanks
Now , just to make sure, where do those grub screws sit? Iside the shaft? It looks that way when eyeballing the manual, but its kind ow a weird place for a grub screw?
AM I interpreting it right, cause looking at the gears, i'm not seeing the grub screw...

The picture you show above is of the front transmission for the tail drive.. The grub screw is at the top and the bottom..
The grub screw that came loose on ntwadell is in the tail case transmission.. You can see it from the end of the tail shaft that does not have the tail hub and blades attached to it.
TT made it very hard to check toe front one you almost have to remove the tank to check the front lower one have to drill a hole for yourself to check the upper. But more than likely your gyro sensor sits over it anyway.
The rear is quite easy to check it is in plain site in the end of the shaft.

Ok, got them little grub screws! Fact of the matter is, two of the three were not tightly turned in at all!! <-- reckon i dodged a bullet there!
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

I was thinking about this the other day (when I had to re tap the tail rotor shaft after "removing" the set screw there). Did anybody replaced the set screw with a normal M3 socket screw? I thought about doing this since the bigger head allows better/more grip on it, but I'm not sure about how better or worse the contact with the shaft would be.
