12S Charger

Any know what charger and balancer you use for Fp 3700 12s?

You could use the Hyperion EOS1210I (http://www.allerc.com/product_info.php?cPath=9&products_id=2785) charger and 2 TP210 balancers.

Thanks motions. This looks likes a nice and 'affordable' charger. Are you using one of them, and if so, what is your experience with it? Could one use 2 FP V-Balance modules as well to balance a 12s pack?

PS. I don't know the TP210, but I assume you can't plut them into the Hyperion charger. Do you then charge your 12s with 2 TP210's not connected to the battery?

The balancers have banana plugs that plug into the charger so it doesn't matter what charger you use. The V-balancer would be a much more affordable alternative to the TP210 and yes you should be able to use 2 of them to charge a 12S pack.

However, I have no idea how the balance connectors are wired for a 12S pack so it might not be possible. I'm thinking it would have 2 sets of 4pin and 2 sets of 6pin connectors which would allow you to do it. Hopefully someone with 12S packs can jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Why not use the 1210i with 2 LBA10 balancers? They are designed for that charger and support the data port so individual cell voltage will be displayed on the screen.

Otherwise the E-Station 902 with 2 PB6 balancers would be a good combo.

The 1210i is 180W so for 12S you're looking at about 3.6A max charge rate. The 902 is 200W so it'll be a 4A max.

Hello from Belgium,
I have a Robbe infinity 3 charger, a FP 12S and 2 FP balancers... but I don't know how to connect them :oops: :arggg:
On the FP UK web site, they explain the procedure to charge a 12S pack.
They show fotos.
Great.
On one of these fotos, you can see the linkage and the harness between pack and balancers.
Greater.
But there is no 12 S harness in their list of possible harness. Only for 2 to 6S :bomb:
When you send them an e-mail, they don't even answer.
SO WHAT CAN I DO
