you risk burning out the receiver due to the high discharge rate - you'll want to stick with 20C / 25C max.

That will be a little to wide and the C rating is how much it can deliver not how much it has to.
So if you Velcro it to the battery tray it would work fine.

Measure the stock battery first. Then measure the width and height of the battery tray.

With enough velcro, one could put any MAH rated 3.7v battery on the Mini-CP, or any other heli for that matter.

The question is, how much does that battery weigh and how hard is the motor going to have to work to lift it.

If the motor has to work too hard because the battery is too heavy, the battery will kindly supply all the juice that the motor needs to blow its little mind.

With helis, It's all about balance one way or another.

Unless one upgrades a given motor, substantially increasing the weight it has to lift will substantially affect its performance, usually for the worse.

Yes. It will be a pig in the air, however, and likely perform like utter crap. I'd stick with 300mah max.

65C :wow2:

I wonder how much of that the MCP would actually use. I think you'd probably benefit the most from a 25/30c battery. From what I understand, too high of a 'C' rating won't hurt the motor or heli (I could be completely wrong), but too LOW of a 'C' rating could. You shouldn't have that problem with a MCP, this primarily goes for larger choppers, using 3s or more.

It would be nice if it would work.

The stock 350 is 10g while this one is 15g. Big difference. plus its the wrong connector,

That MG Power looks like a repackaged Walkera battery.

Just got some Turnigy Nanotec 260s.
They are great.
More power and more flight time.
