Just ordered from Sub-Trim on e-Bay

I got sick of waiting to hear ANY news about the T-Rex 500 so I jumped on the $299.00 Hurricane 550 deal from Sub-Trim on e-Bay. He says it has the updated gears and the ESC has no early version problems. I'll take his word on that. The package comes with an all white canopy that I'm guessing is not fiberglass at this price. That's cool. As long as the gears and ESC are good I can live with a plastic canopy.

New HS-5625mg digital cyclic servos are on the way. I'll be picking up a good used Futaba S9253 digital tail servo this weekend from the local #1 heli guru. I have a GY-401 and several very good T.P. 2100mah and 2200 mah Extreme battery packs. I should be ready to rock and roll very soon! Thanks Bob (Finless) for your videos and your posts. They are what made me decide to buy this heli!

FYI some people are still reporting problems with the GAUI ESC so be aware of that. If you program it like I say in this post:

It should work OK as I did not have any problems.
The discussions is about WHICH instructions to use as they flip flop between which is GOV mode and which is not.

Thanks Bob. I'll use your instructions when it gets here. Probably sometime next week. If I still have ESC problems it's really not a problem as I also have an Align 100 amp ESC to use if needed. :wink:
