Tail servo suggestion...

Being that there have been many 9254 tail servo problems, i was wondering what other option tail servo is there to run with the 401 gyro in a Titan...Seems that many people have problems with the 9254 but I cant seem to find a better replacement servo for it..Thanks

I had a S3154 which had a close encounter with a blade. The cheap bottom case was split in two. (Servo still works).

In the wait of a new servo I mounted a full size Multiplex royal :shock:

Finally my new S9650 arrived and was installed.

I have to say that I have nothing negative to report so far with the S9650 :mrgreen:

Whoops.I should have mentioned that it is a Raptor 50 titan not a mini titan..I was reading tht the hitec 6965's were a great alternative..

Dont run too much gain and keep the oil out.

I never had any problems with the 9254's I used so i guess I will stick to them until I run into a problem..It wont be hard to figure out away to keep the oil out...I may just mount it in the frame rather on the boom..

Thats exactly what I did when I built my Titan, I just skipped the p/p collective and mounted the rudder servo up front.
