Region code on 12Z 14Z

I just got my new 12ZHP, and was annoyed with the region code blocking... :arggg:

I found the posts here on the calibration very useful.. and decided to investigate a bit further by looking inside the HF modules... :idea:

You will find below two pics of a chinese 72Mhz HF module, first, it does not look really like an HF module !!! Second, what is printed on the circuit makes me wonder if the HF modules are not all nearly identical, with some very slight changes.. for example it looks like some components could be added in the red circles. Others may not be present in other regional modules.. Just some thoughts..

I would be really interested if some of you could post pictures of theirs, clear enough to be able to distinguish if there are any differences...

all frequency bands most welcomed, all regions too..

I can not use the module which I used for these pictures, so I will not hesitate to play with a soldering iron on it to do some testing...
