On a new Stinger 50 with all the trimming. Dampers, speed up gear, gov, dx7, blah, blah, blah.
Cant wait for fri.
Ok, i have not owned anything wet powered in over 7 years !! I do have over 10 years with glow planes though. So i might be a little rusty and need a little help from you guys.
I have the hyper coming with it but, Dave was out of the musle pipe's so i will have to get it going with the stock muffler. No big deal, I can wait for the extra power. But I do need some break-in advise. Have to check with the LHS to see what fuel they carry. I do remember Cool Power being good stuff. Will try to use that. Probly somthing in the 15 to 20% range?
Should i run somthing like 1700 on the head and limit the pitch to 8 deg's or somthing on the first gallon? I know about just hovering but i cant do that so i am thinking lazy curcit's ? Maybe a smooth roll or two? I can live with out loops for a gallon though.
Any build tips i should know about ? I have noticed there was a run with bad gears but, with any luck I wont have that problem.
Thanks
DK
