I want a yellow angry bird, the blank canopy is 20 and I gotta find an airbrush artist who knows to mix flex agent in.

I think Im going to go FBL with my Outrage 550. I finally put a Sk 720 in my Logo 5003D and love the difference.
Ive seen quite a few OR 550's for sale lately and they dont seem to get many hits. I guess a model that came out in 2009 is considered old now or something
I really want a big heli, was going to get a Century gasser but I like electric helis and lipos get cheaper and cheaper
Ive got 3 ,550 bladed helis,A Swift, Outrage 550 and a Logo 5003D. 2, 620mm
TT e620SE's and a 450 Beam E4 that I just a Beam FBL head for and pre bought one of the new Sk540's FBL about to be available. The Beam has just been sitting and I hope to get enthusiastic about it again. I also have 2 JR Parkmites an mcpx, MSrx and a bunch of FP Guru, Compy stuff
I dont like to sell my stuff and the only thing that would probably sell quickly is the Logo. The new Logo 700 is supposed to be announced soon. The logo XXtreme is Xtremely expensive...Maybe a Compass 7HV I dont know which way to go
Sorry for the rambling. I just remember how excited I was when I preordered my CF Outrage 550 and had to wait and wait.

the price difference between a 450 and the outrage 550 is like 200 bnf right now on the used market? My 450's fly like crap compared to the outrage 550. And its big so I can see it. Ive never crashed a 550 once due to dumb thumbs (only mechanicals) over 2 seasons. I crash the 450 weekly , usually due to loss of orientation.
heres one of the worst non crasheng flights ever, something was wrong but I forget what so I kept trying to figure out what was up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7NtGn1pywg

Hey SV,
Contact Ace Helis about your canopy, I believe he will paint anything.

FIVE FLIGHTS TODAY! Wow! I won't ever get rid of my 550... every time I fly it I remember how much I like it...
Yup. Ten flights over the weekend. Just such a nice bird to fly.
Ten flights again this weekend, but the bird has developed a tail wag for some reason.

Just had my first backyard flight of the year. How easily I forget how AWESOME this bird is! I only did some slow piros and front and backflips (one battery flight tonight), but it's just so crisp. The balde noise is very intimidating in the backyard, so I need to head out to a field soon!
Love this heli (even with a flybar)!!
Eleven flights with my 550 this weekend. Looking forward to a fun summer with this heli.

What tail rotor blades are you running?
I had a Outrage 550 plastic blade that i was using on a HK600 shuck and cause a crash, So I changed my O550 tailblades to 95mm CF to be safe. She flew fine with them, but they are covered in grass stains.

Magic Eraser will take those stains off for you... CF are the best for big birds IMO.

I got 8 in yesterday. It was a sim like day... blue sky and zero wind. I sure love flying her.
I have the yellow KDBB 92mm blades in mine. Mine is FB though.

I just bought a used fusion 50 head to use as a spare on my O550.
It came with a main shaft. does anyone want to swap for a O550 main shaft?

Aren't they the same? I am pretty sure I use the same shaft on both my 50 and 550.

Hmmm. I am gonna put mine where you have your satellite.
I had my spartan gyro there when it was flybarred and it was fine for 100s of flights

That is just a smaller surface and it is directly connected to a servo that may cause small vibrations. I think the Beast is more sensitive to vibes than the Spartan is...:dontknow
Been flying my 550 so much lately, I had a link pop off while doing some flips. Amazingly, the carnage was pretty much limited to the head. Here are some pics.

Yep they are tanks for sure. I'd suggest you switch to the Rocket City Quick UK links. They are the best and will never pop off.. at least I've never heard of one coming off. Most of the locals here have switched and are happy.
