8103 73 to 72 conversion

I have a jr8103 heli radio on 73mhz (ground)(don't ask) that I want to use on 72mhz(air) with the synthesized module that I ordered. My question is: Do I have to send it to Horizon to have it converted and would I have to send the receiver too.? If so should I wait and send the syn module with it.?

If it fits the JR synth Tx module, you just stick it in and set it to 72. If not, you have to send to Horizon to legally change the Tx crystal to 72.

Rx does not need to be sent.
