Anyidea why is my T600N having tail wagging during hurricane or funnel ?

Maybe it needs one more clamp for the rudder pushrod?

had the same problem on my 600N and 611 setup , try moving the ball on your tail servo , 1 hole closer to the center , the tail is too sensitive , then make your gain 37 again , i am using the futaba star servo horn , not the + horn and i'm in 1 hole from the end , if you use the + horn , you need to have 2 empty holes then your balllink.

the rudder pushrod is just fine with the 2 standoff's that are supplied , just make sure you secure them by sliding a ZipTie underneath so they can't move...

Good chance its the thrusted tail bearing. There are other posts on this issue. I found that when you apply a side loading on this setup the blade grips dont turn freely.

To solve this I removed the thrust bearing and replaced with normal radial type (like the inner bearing). Problem solved and tail is rock solid.

Hmmm but it seems to be smooth when i turn the blade grip by hands.

So could it be still that causing it ?

Absolutely - it's common experience that a tail unit seems perfectly smooth yet when put into use it wags, yet a similar feeling one does not - I guess it's hard to reproduce the loading experienced during a 8-10,000 spin to check whether it does indeed bind in such conditions. Try changing tail units or else check the other threads on HF WRT thrust bearing right way round (bigger ID inner), well lubed and outer thrust bearing LOOSE in the grip, many people have found grinding down the outer rim of this one a touch to have helped.

yes :) it works well :glasses2:
you can have a look at this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsOHb1CFTU0&mode=user&search=
look at the end, at 08:10 there is a zoom on the tail at about 85% of throttle.
I don't know if it's still wagging a little or if it's normal.
what do you think john ?

Lets be abit serious about this wagging. There is a wagging problem on the trex600n right ? so to solve it i will need to remove the thrust bearing and use the normal bearing ?

look at the RT-11 tail rotor assembly. Fast shipping, etc
:badair:
you can also replace the tail by a old one

When I saw the vid, I also thought it was the well known issue, but seems to be the "crackling roll" during the roll he's steering the cyclic stick with his thumb with some small nervous movements......

Don't know exactly but that was the comment on RR.
