I have a Batam BC-6 Charger that I use to charge my lipo's. I bought a RC Buggy for my son and it comes with this 6V 2000MAH Nickel Cadmium Battery. I was wondering how would I set up the BC-6 to charge this battery.

This is what I came up with:

Charge type NiCd
5 cell = 6Volts
Charge current 4.8A
Discharge 0.8A

Thanks for your help
Rick

the manual should clear this up. the unit is pretty simple. set type of battery, set charge rate, set # of cells, and your off to the races.

NiCd Charge 4.8A

Start.
Easy.
No need to tell it how many cells or voltage etc when its NiCd or NiMh, it peak detects so wont overcharge (but do monitor it for correct operation...)
