View Full Version : Where to buy cable adapter
My adapter cable got damaged. It's the square futaba.
Where can order replacement for shipping in US?
What site?
I need only the black end (that plugs to the usb cable) - not the usb cable with box.
Thanks,

Try Tower Hobby.
But I have had good luck ordering direct. Stuff comes ina few days, sometimes faster than Tower. :)
Would this adapter work?

It will they are all pretty much the same.
Thanks a lot!
It's only $4 + $4 shipping compared to $17 + $9 shipping :D
Just got it.
Very strange - it works but only when I switch on my transmitter.
With old cable it worked even without switching the transmitter on, which was better because the radio module was off.
Now the radio module is always ON when I want to use the sim which consumes more battery.
Luckily my module is XPS so it consumes relatively little.
What could be the cause? Switched or missing cable connections inside?

Good info there Amstel. Otherwise just unplug your Tx module when using the sim and it won't draw any power at all
Thanks.
I thought some pin had to be connected because the original was setting the Tx in trainer mode even when the cable was not connected to the other cable going in the usb.
