Just received my hurricane and I want everything to be free and not sticky as it arrives.
But I can't get the pins out of the A-arm and the forks that go on to the swash.
Mine don't move even when I push hard, any tips on how to do this?
Thanks very much

I used a very small punch, one with a 1/16" tip, to push the pins out. But mine were not in all that tight. Sounds like you might need to secure the arms and then use the small punch and a small wooden or rubber mallet, commonly called a persuader, and gently tap the pin out.
There is also a small tool that looks like a 'C' clamp used to push pins out but I am nit sure where to buy them anymore. I bought mine many years ago from a small tool place that is called Micro-Mark (www.micromark.com).

You can use the tip of a micro file. I got mine at Hobby Lobby(the retail chain not the online store) in the train and model department. Comes with 5 or 6 different files in the handle and has come in very handy on everything small I have built. I use the point to work it out about a sixteenth of an inch and then grab it with a pair of micro needle nose pliers. File out the hole in the arm a little with the same file and press the pin back in with the needle noses. Mine was hard to get out one way but easier when I tried the opposite way due to a little flashing on the parts.
