After blowing my tail motor I have decided to go back to flat bottom blades. Using the syms was great, I could fly in the wind which was kool. But the extra head speed forced me to turn up the mix and the gyro. My tail did not last very long. :arggg: Oh well! It flys better on the flats anyway. Its more stable and predictable which is nice. The only thing is I have to fly very early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the wind dies.

Maybe next time!

I don't plan on doing any of that stuff until I get a Trex450. I just want to do some sport flying and hover stuff with this thing.

thats kool but once your rex is front of you. you wont want to learn 3d on it. i was going to sell my pro but i need something to learn to fly in idle up with and then start learning to do flips and rolls

Why wouldn't I learn 3D on it? That is what the Trex is for right? The CP is something I don't want to learn 3D on especially with that tail motor. Its good for hovering and sport flying for me. I could learn 3D on it but I don't feel like spending on all those upgrades when I could be spending on a more stable machine.

for im, im just willing to throw my pro around in the air more then my trex right now..

Thats kool. But I would rather thrash the trex around because its meant to handle that kind of stuff. With the blade you have genetically engineer it to do that stuff. I might as well spend that money on the trex. Plus with the way my heli is acting up now my confidence of pushing it is at a low.

i know what you mean. thats why im returned my pro to stock.im just going to try and get the tail to hold good with the brushed motor. then when i want to do 3d i will get another brushless main and the belt drive tail.. i still gotta get some better packs for my pro..

What are the problems with the stock Eflite packs? While I was home I flew it alot on stock packs and did not have any trouble.

have you noticed that as you fly the tail has to be trimmed or you have go and hold more rudder imput to get it to stay. the stock packs sucks sucks sucks. there rated for 8c for the tail to hold for the life of the pack with retrimming you need a better rated pack

tp 910 3s 10c packs .. i think there rated at 10c

trust me i flew with a heavy ass 1500 3s 20C pack and never had to retrim my tail... but that pack is like 160g's stock eflite packs around 60g

Cool as soon as I get some money in the account I will order some. I am literally on a Budget, The wife says I can spend 500 a month on parts and other stuff. plus i get 100o dollars in cash but cash does no good it is hard to order parts over the internet with cash.

I work over seas so I need something to blow of steam. Hopefully once I get good I can get the wife to sponsor the birds. It would be a tax write off for her company, and I would get to fly when I get home.

I am not real sure how happy most people will be about having a madamjenny.com bird flying around.
