Hi,

I replaced the stock ESC with the Align 75A. There is a setting for timing on this one; does anyone know, what timing is best. Otherwise I'll set on mid timing.

best

hi,

I have also an align 75 and the mid timing is perfect for this engine.

Greats from Belgium

For KV motors from about 1100 and below I have run HIGH timing (reccomended by Align) and noticed the motor ran cooler and had more power.
THis was true for my Hyperion 3025-10 on my Lepton.

I’m using an Align 75 amp controller on my stock motor with a 14 tooth pinion.
I have it set up on high timing and no governor. With this combination I get just over 1990 rpm head speed at the start, going down to 1950 3.5 minutes into the flight turning a 500 mm set of Mikado blades. I have the throttle curve set up at 100-85-100.
Set up this way I have more power than the stock controller with no increase in motor temp or amp draw.
