14MZ-12Z-12ZH MDL files

Hi Guys maybe I have missed something on all the forums that I go; is there one good site or forum that we can all upload our configuration files to? If everyone uploaded their models and configs this would help everyone. If the 14mz guys saved to a 9 char description they could benefit the 12 users.

I am sure any site which done this would have a massive amount of hits

Anyone any comments? :)

I dont Know how I missed that post as I thought I had trolled through everything on this site - many thanks, but how do we encourage everyone to post their configs, I would have thought that this great site would have had a lot more, A file helps to understand what and how people setup their planes/gliders or heli's - It would help those who are helping others, a picture can save a thousand words......or so that say :hug:

Agree it would help, but Finless has posted a method to hack .mdl files. I have shortened all model names in the mdl file very easily. If you can't make it, feel free to pm me.

If some one saves the file there is no need to hack it, how long does it take to change the files from long file name to short?

I agree with you, but I almost never found anyone saving their mdl files with correct filename. It takes 3mn to change the name once you have understood the procedure. You can download Hex Workshop (3.7Mo) and follow the instructions from Finless thread. In case of a prob, pls let me know, or send me the mdl files and I'll change them for you.
