DX-7 Receiver and GY-401 Gyro

The connectors from the GY401 gyro that plug into the Gear and Rudder channel of the AR 7000 receiver have a "lip" on them that prevents them from fitting. I have not heard this mentioned anywhere. Do you have to buy an adaptor to get them to fit? Or dare say could you just shave that lip off?

Take a small hobby knife or razorblade and cut the lip off. I had to do this on mine. It will not hurt anything.
