I'll be there when I get there. Yall can watch my Indy-style camper setup, on the hook to ready to cook in under 15 minutes.
Guess I'll try to setup near the loud generator so mine will blend in. ;)

I'm gonna have to admit that I suck and won't be there
I have a ton of schoolwork to catch up before travelling for work again next week.
Here's hoping for Mulberry.

Eric,
Don't worry about mulberry. Will put our heads together and think of a good excuse for the wife.

I've seen Rodney, Vance and Robert, and someone else whose name escapes me. Showing up at dark already it seems like there was about 1/2 dozen campers and a bunch of canopy frames already up. Gonna have fun breaking in a new T600N and tackling Vance.

I had a great time yesterday. The idea of the combination, flying helis on one side, and planks on the other, was very appealing, and I flew all day long with both types of aircraft. Saw some rotary wing folks I haven't seen in years since I've kinda been away from helis. Was nice to do a little catching up, especially with Gordie and Dave .
About the only downside, is that I don't have everything on 2.4 yet, and someone named andrew griffith had channel 20 the ENTIRE DAY, so some of the stuff I brought was essentially grounded.

Talked to Clintstone last night. Told me it was/is a great event. Said lots of flying taking place. Wish I could have made it down, with 5 grand kids and they all were born around this time of year. Seems there is a birthday party for one of them every weekend around this time. Congrats on having a great event. Hope to make it down to the next one.

Wow,.. it's 5 allready? And I remember when we met,.. and when we got your first heli going, and at that time the girls weren't even out of high school. Guess we need to add "old fart" to the "leadbelly" nickname.

Sounds to me like someone should have been monitoring the freq. board, or people
need to monitor themselves and open the channel when their not using it.
On a positive note, I had a great time. the flying was off the chain, and the crashes
were spectacular, H to theC was SPANKIN DAT ASS with everythig he put in the air, and Vance shocked alot of onlookers when Henry challenged him to fly the Phazzor 600.
Clintstone,Wayne Brown, Henry, Steve, it was really good to see you guys again, I hope you all had a good time, and hope you all make it down for the next one.
I finally got to meet the enfamous Mike Fortin, now I feel my life is complete.
Bobby Smith and the crew from Esprit, good to see you again, going to try to get down to your neck of the woods soon. Rodney, thanks for triming my heli, and talking me into
Sacrificing my foamy to the paintball Gods (may it rest in peace) and as always, the wings
were awsome.
hope to see everyone in Mulberry.

The turn-out was unbelievable. Robert and crew did an outstanding job turning this very small "gathering" into IRCHA SE '07. I've never seen so many crashes in one weekend before in my life. It was a great weekend of flying, BS'ing, and meeting new folks.
Special thanks to Gary Wright for some spectacular flying also. He really showed the capabilities of the Mikado and Hacker products.

Glad I could help Robert!
Too much fun!
The JAX event kicked some royal arse for sure! Thanks to everyone that helped put on the event and to the guys in the fod booth for supplying my 4 year old daughter with more candy and soda that any human should ever consume! The real food was also very good!
Thanks to Eyefly and DirtBikeHG for bringing the puppy for Kianna to play with!
There was more smack talked at this event than at any recent heli event in the past 3 years combined and the fun never stopped! I think this event is going to carry over to Mulberry as well!!
See everone at Mac's and at Mulberry!!!
FYI: the guys in Jacksonville won't have to charge their TX's again for the next month...Infina-Ion got it like that!!!!!!!

Wow...what an awesome event!!!!!!!...Big thanks goes out to Robert(jaxrotor) and the whole gang at JaxRC for letting us invade their field! They have a great facility there and there was not one conflict between helis and planes. Thanks to all the people that made this happen!!
The flying and smack talking was at an all time high!!!It was a total blast all weekend long.
The night time foamy paintball combat was hysterical:lol:I havnt had that much fun in a long time!3 foamies were the target for the paintball combat. My eflight ultimate was the first sacrificial foamy....lets just say its alot of fun trying to keep an airplane flying as big chunks of it fall to the ground as the paintballs tear through it(they dont splatter on foam:lol:)Not to miss out on the fun my brother donated his foamy to the cause after mine could no longer be fixed with packing and duct tape:YeaBaby:....and Joe Scott(if im wrong on this name forgive me...lol)joined in with his delta wing looking foamy combat plane....those 2 plane were in combat while we all took shots at them with the paintball gun!!!....whatta BLAST!!!....Thanks to Tom and Jon(eyeflyhelis and Jon the Rooster aka dirtbike kid) for supplying the paintball gun and the duct tape foamy repair expertise!!!!!!
Thanks to HC and David for letting me wring out the new Gohbee Phazor 600,no doubt in my mind that its going to be one of the hottest 600 class electrics out!!!!!!!What an insane heli!!!
All in all this was one hell of a fun event and I cant wait for next year!!!!!!!!!!
