Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for welcoming us in JAX! ...had a great time and I really enjoyed meeting a lot of you guys that I had heard a lot about. Special thanks goes to the organizers as well! Great Time! :thumbup:

I had a great time yesterday. The idea of the combination, flying helis on one side, and planks on the other, was very appealing, and I flew all day long with both types of aircraft. Saw some rotary wing folks I haven't seen in years since I've kinda been away from helis. Was nice to do a little catching up, especially with Gordie and Dave .

About the only downside, is that I don't have everything on 2.4 yet, and someone named andrew griffith had channel 20 the ENTIRE DAY, so some of the stuff I brought was essentially grounded.


If you're serious I'm sorry, nobody is ever on my channel, all you had to do is ask around, pretty much everyone, even the Esprit boys know who Andy Griffith is. That makes me feel bad, especially after you let me demo fly your geourgous plane.

I did not know that was you, or I would have given you EXTREME grief <G>. I just know you by your nickname on here. I've become so accustomed to pin-hogs at larger events that I now ignore it, and just don't fly the things on those channells that are constantly unavailable. , as I've found out that PA announcements usually don't help and I'm too old and lazy to go around asking everyone if they've got a pin.
By the way, you need to get that noisy-arse smoke generator off that plane of yours and upgrade to a proper powerplant that really performs.

Wow, I'm very sorry, wish I had known, I even asked Ron who was walking around with the unofficial sign in sheet if anyone said they were on 20 and he told me I was the only one.

Hey with the helicopter fuel it looks like I have a smoke system on there and the noise keeps people from sleeping in the pits!
