I'm having a problem with the E-sky HH gyro, it either shuts off when I increase the throttle, or even with the gain set just a tiny bit higher it goes full throttle and spins the heli the other way. Any help would be appreciated.

is all the switches on the gyro where they need to be ? is the rudder channel revrsed ?

I think so, it has all the same wires as the G90, so I followed that setup in the manual, because I can't find a setup for the esky gyro online anywhere and the instructions are horrible, but I'll try reversing the rudder channel.

Nope, the rudder reversing does nothing, but I tried messing with the gain and I get strange results; if it's set too high it just spins the tail around like crazy, and when I turn it down just a little bit, the tail starts out going fine, but when I increase the throttle, the tail shuts off.

I have all the receiver cables in the right channels and I have the rudder lead from the 3 in 1 plugged into the 3 pin connector on the gyro, so I don't know what's wrong.

are you using gyro sense ? if so disconnect it..

worse thing man the gyro is toast. if you want something better im sure the gy240 would work.. or another higher end gyro.. weight will be an issue tho.. might need to counter with some weight in the nose of the canopy

I'll try everything, flipping the orientation... If it doesn't work then I'll get something else

I flipped the gyro upside down and reconnected everything, and it took off and the tail holds pretty solid. Pretty wierd... all I had to do was flip it!

well then the problem was that gyro wasnt facing the correct way. some gyros have to be installed in a certain way for them to work correctly..

it didn't say it had a specific direction it had to go, it just said with the label facing toward the tail, so everything is all good.

good to hear how does the tail hold on punch out's ? im debating running a tail esc with the 3n1 controlling the main.. i think the tail would hold good with the 3n1 running the main and dd tail..
