Are there any helicopters that are close to the PHOENIX trainers in the
real world.
I am advanced in age my reflexes are not what the were.
I have a blade cx. I would appreciate any suggestins for a
better heli.
All suggestions appreciated.
Thank You
JIM
Try downloading the t-rex 450 from their website.
I think that it's pretty close to a real life t-rex.
Its not a Blade CX, but I guess that any (quality) practice will do you good.

The Trex 450 is NOT a stock Trex. It is setup as a pretty serious 3D machine.
They are suposedly working on a toned down, more stock one. But there is a thread over on RC Groups that talks about the tuning you can do to the one in Phoenix to make it more like a stock milder one.

Jim,
Were you asking about other models in Phoenix that appoximate real helis or real helis that fly like the trainer models in Phoenix ?
If the later then I would think that a Raptor 30 or Raptor 50 with a mild setup would probably be a reasonable match for the Phoenix Raptor 50 Sport. For electrics it's harder to find a tame mid-size heli, they are mostly designed for high performance although most can be tamed somewhat. Many of us are eagerly awaiting the TRex500 which should be a good size (~420mm blades, fly on affordable batteries) for better visibility and stability than a TRex450 and if detuned might work out nicely.
