View Full Version : 9451'S IN TREX CF
What spacers are being used behind the servos in the stock CF frame so they actually fit? 2 stock aligns? do i need longer screws also? And last i assume the ball links would go on the inside of the servo arm? Thanx-J

I used the plastic spacers(one) plus the rubber servo grommets and they fit just fine. used the stock screws.
not sure about putting the linkages on the inside, mine are on the outside. I thought about trying them on the inside but I think they will bind though.

I just installed a set of 9451s in my 600. I would have liked to space out the servos some but I would have had to find another set of spacers and use longer screws. I ended up using the rubber servo grommets and the backing nut only. I ended up running my linkages on the inside of some QuickUK servo wheels to get everything the right distance from the center. When installing the balls I found that just threading the ball into the servo wheel caused some interference between the wheel and the link so I added a nut as a spacer to the ball then installed the ball into the wheel. The wheel is threaded and worked out perfect with how long the threads were on the ball.
I did as you guys reccomend and they fit but they are tight. IS it ok for the back of them to touch?

This is what I did. I put 1/32 washers behind the servo and then the spacer. It gives me a slight gap between the servo's. I also used du-bro #670 servo arms.
