question about putting a heatsink on my esc ?!

i have a pheonix25 esc and the heat shrink is starting to rip from shrinkage due to getting worm during flight could take a heatsink from an old pc chip and cut it to fit over the mosfets on my esc like the finless align esc mod ??

you can do that but just be careful that no metal part is touching. if its touching it could cause a short and posibbly fry the system
