Terry,
What's going on??? there is an event listed on Mac Hodges web page called heli fly in 10/26 - 10/28
Is this going to be the IRCHA SE event?

Seems to me it might be better to just rename it Macs Heli Hoot fly-in SE and quit the IRCHA Bullshit I'm seeing on post of this event.
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???

Nolan,
It was called the IRCHA SE event last year that's why everyone is asking if it's going to happen again this year, I'm pretty sure it has been called the IRCHA SE event for some time.

Hello Clyde, Thank you but I am aware of most IRCHA events over the last 6 years but I'm also aware of some of the B.S. over the years also. I have a real good friend that is an IRCHA officer. I just don't like seeing stuff like has happened in this post.
It seems a date was picked for IRCHA SE, announced and then removed. If there is a conflict then say so if not then why change the dates. :dontknow
EDIT: Just a holler to Terry that I plan on making the event at Macs (what ever it's called) and will help where I can. ;)

Same here, we really enjoyed it last year and have it on the calander to return this year.
If IRCHA doesn't want to support the SouthEast, that's OK it looks like there is going to be an event at Mac's in Oct. regardless of what it's called.
I won an IRCHA membership this year and had been considering joining anyway and I hope this organization gets back on track, I'm making the trip this year to Muncie and look foward to renewing next year as it appears there is new leadership in place.

It's too bad that IRCHA SE was taken away from Mac's place as it was the ideal place for everyone in the Southeast to attend.
None the less Mac's South East (renamed) is going to be a blast I'm sure as last year rocked even with the rain!
So looks like many, many people will be missing out on the "Official" IRCHA SE this year by attending our regular scheduled show at Hodge's Hobbies!!!!!

They are on different dates, no reason not to catch both events.

Well, I can't go to IRCHA Muncie event and all the talk of good prizes is killing me!
I guess the only way for me to get over it is to go to IRCHA SE AND Mac's.

They are on different dates, no reason not to catch both events.
There is only about 1 weeks difference between the events and between September, October and November there are some pretty big and well known events that take place.
Adding another event into that mix makes things tough on people with traveling and gas and so on.
I know for many of us here in Florida Mac's is a good distance (not to far) where as Miss. is a bit further. With only one week between the events and SO many miles I think the major majority of pilots will go to Mac's because they know what to expect and who all will be there...EVERYONE!
I think it's great you guys there in Miss. are going to have the IRCHA SE event I just don't think it will be as well attended as the originally planned event will be.
