Really want a new electric but I'm not sure which one. Hurricane is cheap but is it a waste, lepton is not much bigger than a 450rex but sounds sweet and good quality but for the same price I could get a 600. What do I do

Different birds.
Lepton is expensive, 420 mm blades.
Hurricane is cheap, needs upgrades to fly serious 3D, runs 500 blades. According to Finless better heli than the Swift.
600 is BIG, expensive packs, runs 600 mm blades.
The upcoming Trex 500 will be Lepton sized, run 2 Trex 450 packs in series.
There is also the Quick of Japan EP8 (www.helicopterhobbies.com) which runs 400 mm blades stock, and has an available stretch kit. You could easily run this on 2 x Trex 450 packs also, although I am running mine on 5S 2100 packs.

Fine, if you can afford the packs. :)
$300 each for top line packs is a bit more than I want to throw at this hobby. @ packs is a set of tires for the race car. :)
