I am in the process of getting a Hurrivane 550. I need a BEC and I would like one that can run on higher voltage so I won't need an extra battery. Is the SportBEC (3.5 A) OK for the Hurricane? I am going to run the servos that came with the DX7 on the swash.

use the UBEC from Hobby People this thing can handle 6s lipo packs

The Align CHEAPO $15 3amp BEC works great on this heli! It is light and will handle this heli well......

I use a 6v UBEC from Kool Flight systems. I got it from ReadyHeli.com.
Its lighter than a BEC with a sep. flight pack and you never have to worry about when your rx pack runs down or charging it.
