Hi,
Am looking for information, or suppliers who make something like this for a powerful heli/craft/whatever - suitable for a large Canon DSLR, such as a rebel/300d/30d etc
What options do I have available, I want an active system..
I understand it's expensive and heavy - but forget about that.. i need all info!
Kind regards,
Chris

for stills you do not need an actively stabilized mount unless you plan to shoot in low light conditions.

well... since you said weight and cost is of no concern you would do best with an underslung mount rigged to stabilize in all 3 axis by using two Kenyon KS2 gyros.
The Kenyons weigh about 2lb a piece and cost about $800 each.
A turbine swinging 830mm blades or larger would be a good place to start for such a rig.

Ok thanks,
I have been looking at various types of system, am looking at camera mounts too - such as askmapap.com which seems to be quite a good system. What other systems are available for just a big camera mount, without the gyro etc.
Thanks,
Chris

Askman does not make a big camera mount as of yet. You can't fit a Sony FX1 into any of their mounts.
