Question about a gyro

Someone asked me and I am not sure so I thought I would ask here. I know that the 401 has remote gain and hh/norm remote. Is the 240 uust like the 401 without the remote capibilites? Does I new pilot actually need a 401 starting ust FF and Hover ect. She is wanting to buy a heli and it has a 240 on it?

The 240 also lacks the digital servo mode. And the price difference between the two isn't enough to make it worthwhile to run teh 240.
