Hi all,

First of all, must say the 600 Nitro Pro is a great heli, absolutely fantastic!!

but.....

Anyone allready notices the hugh play in bladeshaft?
Having 14 flights with my T-rex, but during flight i don't notice the play....

I'm using the stock black dampeners, anyone got a solution?

Some other things I noticed:

- Stock bodymount grommets are crap, use TT ones.
- Headertank is nice, my engine stopped in a FFF with tank almost empty

Did you lubricate the dampers? Absolutely do not lubricate the dampers, running the black stock ones and they last forever dry.

I don’t use a header tank and 3D for 8 minuets but a header tank is fine, always used to use one.

The canopy grommets work great on the 600-E but your right there to soft and fragile for the 600-N, currently using some from Radio Shack.

Dont feel bad, I went through my black dampers in 10 flights, to the point where I wasnt comfortable flying it, and chancing a boomstrike

So I replaced them, and used 2 raptor 90shims on each side of the grips(may take 1 out) and added metal grips, and I swear this head has taken some Viagra!

I have the same problem.. a weekend worth of flights, around 2 gallons and have developed some serious slop in the head.. Now with that being said.. It got bad around 10-13 flights somewhere in there and hasnt changed since.. Meaning it hasnt gotten worse.. So are they just broken in, or are they broken? I am going to continue to punish them and see how bad they will get.. So far its just some play in the head.. Something I am not used to with the infinivations and CX dampners.. So far no problems with it and the heli still tracks like its on rails and does what its told and in a hurry.

I've had the same problem with our 600E, just worn out after 20-30 hard 3D flights. I've been oiling them with Tri-Flow, you can bet the set I put in tommorrow will not get lube!

Wren,

When you replace those dampers clean off and out everything involved with rubbing alcohol and dry.

I have tried lube on dampers for other models where they directed its use and it never worked well, I haven’t built a model yet where dry dampers weren’t the way to go. I guys Min Air can take credit as they expressly say not to lube there dampers and most of my experience is with there models.
