I swapped out the module in my 9xII (9303) with the Spektrum JR airmod the other night. I worked late and changed receivers in two of my helis and a foamy. Amazing, didn't even need to touch any model settings. After a few hours of sleep to turned up at the local field (with coffee) and proceeded to test each model.

Previously I had been plagued with glitch issue in my trex450, those days appear to be gone. I used the 6100 and while the range check didn't make the 30 paces, it flew fine without any issues.

I used an AR9000 in the trex600n without any issues.

In the foamy I used another 6100. The 6100 isn't a full-range RX, but I thought I would test its limits. I took the foamy up further that I could make out the orientation. As far as I could tell, I still maintained full control. I wouldn't run that test on a more expensive plane, but interesting none the less.

Interestingly, out of habit I still attempt to reach to extend the TX antenna each time I go out, and some times look down thinking I have forgotten something.

I don't think I will ever look back!! :D :D

I also have the 9303 with the module as well and the 6100 receiver on my TRex and hyperion yak -55. My range check is fine for my yak, but I have problems with the Trex450. Somewhere between 25-30 paces I have no response at all from my heli until i release the bind button to get full transmitter power back.. Have you flown your Trex450 far enough to determine range for your 6100 on the 450?

Me too ... I got about 20 paces with the range check and started to lose control. I decided to fly anyway. It seems ok, did some stall turns and flips without issues. I will do some more flying tomorrow and go further out.

If you want the security of full range, the new AR6200 might be a better choice.

I plan to get the AR6200 at some stage, but at the moment the 6100 isn't causing any problems.
