Every crash is different, plain and simple. Best way not to experience crash costs is to fly within your known limits and when you are going for new stuff gain some height :)

Posted by Helidirect today, they are selling replacements for 119.00
T-REX 600 Nitro version frame set is designed at 1.6mm thickness and is known very weak and easy to break in light crashes. The new 2mm super strong frame sets have just arrived with FRP, Silver SSG and Black carbon fiber versions. Very strong 2mm material and cheap. Comes with bearings. Also check out T-REX 600 frame sets 2mm also.

They also have a 2mm G10 set for $50 total. In fact, I ordered a set as a backup already :D

I'd run 1mm frames if I could get them, flight is where you notice performance. How many times have you seen a pro go crash one for the hell of it?
Duh, build to fly. You want crash-prrof, buy Century Hell most of them never get off the ground anyway.

WayneBrown, that's hillarous ! :lolol
In fact my friend bought one and it can only be started once a while, probably the gasoine engine is not that good. Yes, it never crash, It barely take off actually :)

Wayne's coming from the same place I am. If you want a flying tank, then don't buy a helicopter with "Pro" in the name.
If it doesn't break when you crash, it's too heavy.

Edit: Think of it as a sliding scale. Performance vs Durability. The more performance you want out of something, the less durability it will inevitably have. Higher precision and lighter weight comes at a cost guys. Take the torque tube for example.

Kyle, I think you are right. Since it's too light then there is a great chance it will break the frame. I just hope that the electronics not thrown out.
