Well, I have the g90 and will use that. I also think I have a good servo for the tail. My 401 will stay on the T-Rex. Not sure I could justify a 401 for the CP - but who knows!!!! Just having ahrd time pulling the trigger since I just went through the whole brushless thing and just ended up in the ground. Its like fishing with turtles in the water - you think something big is biting so you keep trying and every bit of bait (money) you throw in the water gets taken and all you get is a rusty hook.

OK I am thinking of going to the belt drive tail when I get back off of I+I, R+R. I have the MH CNC main frame and the MH auto rotation main gear, the brshless motor and CF blades. What all am I going to have to do to put the belt drive on. If ya'll had to modify the main frame I think that I might have a problem.

since you have the micro heli cnc frame i could be wrong but i think your only option is to go with the micro heli belt drive...either that or email don at freestyle hobbies and ask him to take a look at some pics of your frame.
get good clear pics of the side.. and the rear and under it.. close to get a goood look at it..

Don't spend $290 on the MH Belt conversion... NEVER!

i think the 290 is for the frame and belt drive kit
he already has the frame so he just needs the belt drive stuff

come to think of it if he is using the mh frame and the stock boom then he can use the freestyle kit. but im not sure of where the belt would come out of the boom and go to the main gear

If you do decide to purchase the FSBM for your CPP that will be a baited hook you pull back with a fantastic catch on it. The FSBM has been one of the best upgrades I have on my CPP to push it's performance to a compleatly new level. The tail WILL hold like you have always wished it would and your control will improve dramatically. It works well with the G90 but not even close to as well as it could. The G90 for some reason cannot hold the tail rock solid. If you take your hand off the rudder and just hover it will drift VERY slowly. It isn't bad enough to really care to much about and it seems to hold well during slightly more agressive flight. If you really want supprise yourself with how well a CPP can really be ditch the G90 and get a 240 or 401 gyro. I went with the 401 because there isn't much weight differance between it and the 240 and the price is pretty close as well. Also I wanted to be able to control the gain through my tx. I started laughing during the first flight with the 401 on my CPP. It was crazy how much differance it made.
The next step for my CPP is the Park 400 BL motor. I have noticed that the park 370 doesn't supply the strength I want to power the tail during hard (fast) piros so I think the 400 should do the trick. For those of you that have kept the weight pretty low on your CPP the 400 may be compleatly unecessary.
I am not certain about the FSBM on the MH frame. I took a look at the frame and it looks like it should be fine with the exception of the boom mount. I am not sure that the FSBM's boom mount will line up with the MH frame. I am sure it would be an easy mod that Don at Freestyle hobbies would be willing to make for you with your kit. Unless Don has had to make this mod before he will need good pics of the frame and accurate measurements of certain points. He will let you know what he needs to know, Also don't worry about your MH Auto gear I have one on my CPP as well and it's fine. Just let Don know that you have the MH Auto gear so he sends the right stuff. Also, Anyone that orders this mod should really consider asking Don to send your kit with an extended battery tray. It is great for getting your CG right with lighter packs.
Well I hope this covers it. I know the 401 seems a little (LOT) drastic for a little CPP but if you really do enjoy flying this little guy, as I do, it is money well spent. The way I looked at it was that if it was a lame upgrade for my CPP I could always put it on my Rex or a future heli.

OH!!! I am not sure if I have posted this info before but for those of you that are using woodies on your CPP do yourself a favor and give the woodies that Don has at Freestyle hobbies a try. I think they are only like $8/each (remember to put the prices in USD on the site) and the set I got were very well balanced. When I have some cash I am gonna order 4 or so sets from him as well as some extra spare parts.
Some additional information: For those of you with CAD skills Don is more than happy to take your CAD drawings and make the parts from your files for you. It's nice to have an outlet to make your ideas realities.

Thanks Mortificate. I will probably be getting the FSBM shortly. I do like the CP Pro a lot except for the tail and that is the limiting/frustrating point as we all know. I have sunk a bit in tail mods as mentioned before and was hesitant since I had heard people having great success with the DD tail and I was completely dissapointed with that mod. When I do it, I will probably start with the G90 since it is on the bird already. I can also borrow the 401 from my T-Rex just to try it before buying another one.
