My little zoom has been running really well recently but in the past couple of flights I have experienced a dramatic (but gradual) fall in rpm which eventually leaves the heli resting on the floor even at full pitch/throttle.

After reducing power (or stopping) for a couple of seconds and then throttling back up, it will be back to normal and flying fine???

I have got stock everything except a TP 2100 lypo. (which is quite new so I hope this is not the problem)

Could it be that my stock motor is dying when it gets hot???

Any help or info would be very appreciated!

I had a simular problem before on another micro I was flying. The battery was no good. However, The motor may be your problem. The stock moteor on the shogun is not known for it's life span. I never used mine. went right to brushless himax.

Cheers for the info! :D

I may have to go brushless - More £££ though!
