Thanks Will..... I can't wait to give her a spin.... weather has been lousy since I finished her. Wind yesternday.... T'storms and rain today.... very windy tonight.... I just saw a hen lay the same egg 3 times !!! :shock:
Maybe tomorrow will be a good day. The Ultimate is a nice kit, I enjoyed building it and had no issues. Highly recommend it as a kit, now let's see how it flys !!!

What size pack are you using...... that thing looks huge

Hey Blackdog,
Remember the Ultimate is a small plank..... the pack is a TP1320 in the picture, so it is not a big pack at all. I also will run a Apogee 1570, it is a little wider, but not as thick as the TP.
I have yet to fly it.... but tomorrow looks very promising. Wind and cold have kept me indoors..... plus family commitiments.
Ahhhh..... Tomorrow..... tomorrow........

Hey folks,
Just an update..... the little Ultimate is awsome.... even in the wind. I haven't had a calm day yet to fly it. It loves to torq roll and while it is being blown downwind as it torq rolls..... it looks pretty cool. I had a ball with it today... flew 2 battery packs out. More later..... photos when available.

Hey guys I went the the hobby expo here yesterday (not much to see though except Taylors Turbine helis and his BIG gasser)
This guy had some REALLY nice foamys for sale.
I am ordering one soon as he gets caught up.
The nice thing is his "pro" models the wing is 6mm and has some really nice lightweight mods done to make them tougher and fly better.
Also check out the F-15 and F-18 Jets. They are awesome...
