I am going to be in Louisville that week for a wedding... Are they any events scheduled in or around Louisville during July 5 - 8?

None that I know of. There are a couple clubs, though, that you can stop by and play at. Drop me a PM if you'd like directions to 'em.
Cool!!! I would definetely be interested in finding a place to fly. Actually I was thinking about checking out the KY Jets event in Lebanon, which happens that weekend. And they are even supposed to have Helis!! Heres the link: http://www.visitlebanonky.com/events/kyjets.htm

RCRC, (one of the sponsors), is one of the clubs up here. They've got a nice field, with a paved runway. If you're into F3C, you might be able to catch Doug Trent there, (unless Futaba's sent him someplace else for the weekend).

RCRC is only a sponsor for the event, it's being held down by Springfield.
<edit>The event is at 37 38 06.55n 85 14 57.26w, (lousy image, but you can use the roads overlay).
Now that I've looked at it, I know exactly where it is. Dad and I used to fish just up the road from there.

If you drive down 254 from I-65 just about sun-up, you might be blessed with a photo op - if you're a fan of sunrise shots.
