Is this brownish color on the inside under normal use ? For the first 7 or so flights, I never put any oil on it, but it seems to be operating smoothly.

Maybe someone can check theirs and report back :noteworthy

Its hard to see what you are talking about on such a small photo.

The one-way on mine was packed with a yellowish coloured grease. Maybe thats just some of the residue that you are seeing?

I picked up a new one, and it also has a brownish tint to it, so guessing this is normal.

Dont oil it. Use tri flow red grease, it works awesome! I use it on all my dampners, main and auto gears, and one way berrings. Oil the main shaft and swash.
